School Of Nursing Scholarship
The School of Nursing Scholarship is awarded during year 1 of the Combined BS/MS program. During the first year, students receive 66% of the scholarship via disbursements in the fall and spring semesters. The remaining 34% is disbursed during year 2 of the program, also in the fall and the spring semesters. Students must maintain continuous full time enrollment to receive the entire scholarship.
REQUIREMENTS:
A student must be:
- Enrolled in the Combined BS/MS program.
- Full-Time MATRICULATED with 12 or more credits (or certified as full-time by University Guidelines).
- In good academic standing.
- Demonstrate "need" as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.
If students who are receiving the SONS are placed on academic probation by the Committee on Admissions or drop courses that will place them below the 12 credit full-time requirement, the SONS will be reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee and a determination will be made to continue, reduce or remove the SONS.
PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING SONS SCHOLARSHIPS:

However, the School of Nursing contribution shall not exceed the equivalent of 50% of the student's tuition cost in a given academic year (three semesters).
Traineeship Grants:
